Is it Imposter Syndrome or are you just surrounded by D*ckheads?!

A live masterclass to help you separate what’s yours… from what never was never yours to carry.

There are moments in leadership that are hard to explain.

Where you find yourself holding back in a meeting you should be leading and hope no one notices.

But internally there’s that gut-wrenching feeling, you’re already replaying it before the meeting’s even finished.

Why didn’t I say that?
Why didn’t I back myself?

You start comparing yourself to the people around you. Wishing you had the kind of confidence Dave has when he repeats the exact point you made five minutes earlier and now suddenly everyone’s on board.

That’s when the inner shitty committee kicks in.

You tell yourself you should have handled it differently.
That you need to be more confident.
More assertive.
Less soft.

Without realising it you stop questioning what’s happening around you and start questioning yourself instead.

That’s why I’ve created Is it Imposter Syndrome or are you just surrounded by D*ckheads?!

I hear from brilliant, highly successful, talented women daily whose confidence has been knocked by what they’ve been navigating at work.

  • Being overlooked for promotion because a man feels threatened by them.

  • Being told they won’t make the boardroom because they’re “not ambitious enough’’ when actually they just refuse to fit into a culture that rewards dominance and aggression.

  • Coming back from maternity leave and being told they need to take a different role with less pay because of their “capability”when it’s discrimination.

  • Being managed for performance after being moved into roles they were never set up to succeed in.

This is the part that REALLY gets me!!!

Their confidence takes the hit, they internalise it and start to believe they’re the problem, right at the point where they need to advocate for themselves.
Trust themselves.
Make difficult decisions.

Then when they ask for support they are told to work on your confidence, your visibility, your mindset.

When what they’re actually navigating are societal norms, systemic and structural problems they’ve been told to fix themselves for.

Honestly!!! Not on my watch!!!
